I (she, they) am a white, queer, genderqueer therapist working in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq peoples. I am a dynamic and empathic counselling therapist responsive to the needs of diverse contexts and clientele. I am entirely nonjudgmental and have worked with many clients with diverse issues, including exploration around mood and/or personality disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma, gender identity, sexual orientation, social justice and many others. I am comfortable working with individuals from all communities, including BIPOC, LGBTQ2SIA+, kink, poly, sex work, etc. I am also comfortable with and happy to write the letters of support required for transitioning.
I am a Registered Counselling Therapist with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT). I got my Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling in the United States and then began seeing clients in Montreal. I have also provided many workshops and presentations to various groups on topics related to mental health, LGBTQ2SIA+ issues, relationship issues and more. I moved to Nova Scotia a couple years ago with my partner and two children and am thrilled to be able to continue to do the work I love in this beautiful province!
